Well, the wait is finally over. Chinese company Infinix Mobility has released the successor to 2017’s Infinix Hot 5. The Infinix Hot 5 came with a junior sibling called the Infinix Hot 5 Lite. But this time around, Infinix are going for a senior sibling. The Infinix Hot 6 Lite comes with a bigger version called “Infinix Hot 6 Pro.

Both the Infinix Hot 6 Lite and Hot 6 Pro are Snapdragon-powered devices. Not only that, the smartphones features 18:9 aspect ratio display. For this article, I would be comparing the Infinix Hot 6 Lite with the Infinix Hot 6 Pro. In a bid to find out what makes the Hot 6 Pro the senior version.

Infinix Hot 6 Lite Vs Hot 6 Pro – The Design

Just like you see on most smartphones, there isn’t any significant difference in design between the Infinix Hot 6 Lite and Hot 6 Pro. They both feature a dual rear camera with dual-LED flash. This is the first smartphone from Infinix to have such feature.

The dual rear camera along with the dual-LED flash is in a horizontal position at the top left corner of the device. While the fingerprint sensor is rear mounted at its usual position. Under the fingerprint sensor, is the Infinix brand name.

The Infinix Hot 6 Lite and Hot 6 Pro will definitely feel light when handled. The two phones weigh just 145 grams and measures 7.8 mm in thickness. The body color options of the two devices are the same and they are amazing to look at. They’re both available in Sandstone Black, Magic Gold, Bordeaux Red and City Blue body colors.

The first thing you would notice in the display of both smartphones is the bezels reduction at the top and bottom screen. As Infinix has adopted the trending 18:9 aspect ratio display for both the Hot 6 Lite and Hot 6 Pro.

The display of both the Hot 6 lite and Hot 6 Pro are the same, which is not so cool. They both sport a 6.0-inch HD+ IPS LCD touchscreen, which stretches up to 76.1% screen-to-body ratio. Their display packs a 720 x 1440 pixels resolution with 285 PPI density.

This is Infinix best powered Snapdragon chipset phone and it promises to be a lot faster in multitasking. The chipset comes with 4-cores processor, which reaches a speed of 1.4GHz. While the Adreno 308 graphics processing unit handles the graphics of both phones.

Running on the Hot 6 and Hot 6 Pro is XOS 3.0 skin on top of Android 8.0 Oreo. The first difference between the Infinix Hot 6 Lite and the Infinix Hot 6 Pro is the memory and storage space.
